Award Winners for MLA Expo 2023

With Europe’s largest locksmith event for the trade wrapped up, MLA EXPO 2023 proved a huge success, during the 3 days each exhibitor had the chance to win an award from 3 categories, with each award being judged by Industry experts.

We’d like to congratulate all the exhibitors who received well-deserved recognition at MLA EXPO 2023.

A full breakdown of the award winners is below:

MOST CREATIVE STAND – LOCKS 4 VANS

Congratulations to Locks 4 Vans for their ‘Most Creative Stand’ award at MLA EXPO 2023.

Dean Cassar, Business developement manager of Locks 4 Vans had the following to say:

“Locks 4 Vans is so thrilled to receive the ‘Most Creative Stand’ award at the Expo.

We wanted to give visitors a great experience and really showcase what we do, and we definitely achieved that!

Thanks to everyone who came by to chat with the team or took part in our free product training sessions – we look forward to seeing you again next time!”

BEST STAND AWARD – ASSA ABLOY

Congratulations to ASSA ABLOY for their ‘Best Stand’ award at MLA EXPO 2023.

Clare Blakemore, MD of Mul-T-Lock had the following to say on ASSA ABLOY winning the Best Stand Award:

“We’re absolutely thrilled that ASSA ABLOY has won the Best Stand award at MLA Expo 2023. Being recognised by the MLA panel for Mul-T-Lock, UNION, Yale and HKC Security reflects our commitment to excellence and innovation in the security industry.

We worked tirelessly to create a stand and presence that not only showcases our high-performance products but also taps into the immediate needs of our customers.

The aim was to provide an interactive and informative experience for our network of professional locksmiths.

It’s a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team and will continue to set the highest standards in security solutions.”

BEST STAND AWARD – BURTON SECURITY

The final award of the exhibition went to Burton Security winning the Best Product Award.

Adam Greenway the Group Director of Burton Security was delighted to win the Best Product Award:

“Burton Security would like to thank the MLA for awarding our Companion Safe BEST PRODUCT at the MLA EXPO 2023! Receiving this award from a team of industry experts really does mean a lot to everyone in the Burton company.

Developing and bringing new products to market involves a whole team of people back at the factory working for months and sometimes years bringing new concepts to market.

We opened our Design & Innovation centre in January 2023, so being awarded BEST PRODUCT by the MLA in its first year is a great reward for all our efforts.

I would like to personally thank everyone in our R&D, engineering, marketing, purchasing and warehouse teams for bringing the Companion Safe to market and our sales admin and sales team for all their work presenting it to our customers. And most of all a big thank you to everyone who visited our team at the MLA EXPO 2023 and all our great customers who support the Burton brand.”
